Meeting Minutes
December 19, 2014

  

Meeting called to order 8:08 with pledge and prayer. 

Secretary Report:  Minutes were read by Six Pac, motion to accept made by Chris Gentry, seconded by Mike, motion carried. 

Old Business: Boy's home was a success, 25 bikes rode, and the room was filled.   

The nominations for 2015 officers are as follows;  Director Six Pac, Vice Director Chris Gentry, Treasurer Michelle Schmidt, Secretary Melissa Johnson, Sgt of Arms Handlebar, Steve Hall, Mike Schmidt, Jeff Poe, Chris Cox, Skinny Andy.  The folks that volunteered to count ballots are Rick Kitchen, Jay Huber and Al Campbell.

We still need someone to sit on the Recreational Trails Authority Commission. 

New Business:  The board had made an executive decision to buy a vent cover for the KBA trailer; they didn't feel it was something that could wait for a membership vote.  The purchase was made in the amount of $21.00 and has been installed. 

A motion was made by Six Pac to pay $208.00 for a permit to allow live bands and/or amplified sound in Kenton County, the fee will be paid to Kenton County Planning and Zoning, seconded by Jerry, motion carried. 

Starting January 27th there is a 10 week course offering classes on how the gov't is ran. 

The KMA/KBA State Board agreed to have a new corporation governed under KMA/KBA Safety Institute, which will be a 501 C-3.   

New Officers:  Director Six Pac, Vice Director Chris Gentry, Treasurer Michelle Schmidt, Secretary Melissa Johnson and Head Sgt of Arms Handlebar. 

Announcements:  Jan 10th is the Benefit for Tony Nichol's sister.  Freedom Fighters Forum will be Jan 16th - 17th.
